First of all, thanks to all of you for the welcome. I had intended to do a return that would focus on the abject corruption and horror of our current national and governmental condition ("Remember, remember the 5th of November" and all).

Events at Fort Hood, Texas, however, interceded and my plans changed.

For those of you who have followed me for a while, it should come as no surprise that I suspect this incident to have been a perfect storm of political correctness, Islamofascism and homeland/military security failure.

Our "War on Terror" briefly carried the correct name - "War on Islamofascism". That is what the fight we are engaged in truly is. It is the reason our fronts are in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is the reason we have additional operations in the Philippines and southeast Asia. The enemy in our war is radical Islam and all Muslims who tolerate and accept it as a legitmate expression of religion.

But Americans are weakest when they are ignorant. And in few areas are the majority of Americans more uninformed than in the area of Islamic history. I highly recommend this book by Bernard Lewis as a primer to understanding why Islam is inherently in conflict with the West (specifically, the Christianized West, but the fact that the atheist Communist government of China also struggles with its Muslim population of Uighurs should tell us a great deal).

I'm not going to even print the name of the terrorist who carried out these attacks. I'll tag him to this piece, but I don't want to offer even the acknowledgement of humanity to this scum. May he survive his wounds to spend all his days on earth at Fort Leavenworth to contemplate how he was denied his 70 virgins by a woman who knew how to shoot bastards like himself.

*EDIT: My friend Cassandra shared this blog entry via Facebook. It is a blog entry from a soldier who actually went to Iraq, was actually wounded and legitimately suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) . . . unlike the aformentioned Islamofascist scum.

~awesome thought of the day!

I'm considering shouting "JESUS IS GREAT" before doing anything of remote importance publicly. Just curious to see how long it will take before some Twit is offended and complains. ;)

I KNEW it! Sgt. Munley is a new mother according to her twitter bio. When a mom senses danger, as I'm sure you know, she is a force with which to be reckoned! She didn't know she was wounded and wasn't going to stop shooting until that guy was no longer a threat or dead.

I know, it's frightening to contemplate just how much the social engineering which has now infected the military has weakened the United States. When our intrepid President, Mr O, addressed the Muslims in his Cairo speech, I feared we might be in for a very rough time. Even I didn't see this one coming, though--terrorism within the military itself. When will people finally wake up and stop all of this PC nonsense?

I've heard about this. I've ranted about this. I cried when I heard.
Lives were lost. Any belief that is against life makes no sense to me. How can he jusitfy it? If he was not mentally insane, how can he possibly make anyone understand?

How do people even make themselves do these thing to begin with?

Hi Rob,

I'm glad you're back and I feel the same frustration about that terrorist nut.

On 9/11/2001, what will become known as, "The Thousand Year Religious Wars" began. The PC crowd refused to "offend" anybody so the enemy, and their intentions, has never been made clear. We've had eight years to get it straight, but our leaders still refuse to accept the fact that the Muslim faith is at war with all infidels. By naming Al Queda and the Taliban as our enemies they have obscured the religious nature and the true threat.

They are the "Perfect Enemy". They are free to come into this country, but do not offer any allegiance; Because their religion is also their political ideology, they are protected under our Constitution; As a minority, they have many unearned rights in this country even though they hate us; Being in our free country, we must not ever discriminate, so they are allowed to join our military and run for office; Even though they are enemies of our country, it is not a factor in gaining citizenship; They are using our democratic system to "insist" on changes to our laws to include their Sharia laws; They need no uniforms or military leaders to "attack" us; They have already been given their "instructions" as part of their religious training and it is buried in every one of their hearts; Any Muslim, at any time, can kill as many infidels as they want, whenever and whereever he feels like doing so. The perfect enemy! God help us. It's going to be a very long struggle.

It hasn't been that long ago that I was reamed for merely using the word "Islamofascist" and even after explaining that the people to whom I referred were, in fact, Islamic and they were, in fact, fascist I was still called a paranoid racist. Can't even call them what they call themselves without being hit over the head with political correctness.
